World Walking Day 2011

World Walking Day is a worldwide walk event

which sponsored by Nestle this year..

This event held on 20th Nov 2011 from 6.30am - 11am,

in Waterfront Kuching, Sarawak..

There are many more places like Penang, JB and so on

are having the same event at the same time..

The walking distance is about 45 mins long..

The first 100 participants who registered through MYFM website,

got the MYFM sponsored cap and Nestle sponsored 'World Walking Day' t-shirt ..

- All my friends (only part of  us, there are others who are not in photo)-

The event started with speeches and most interesting part is aerobic..

The aerobic last about 40 mins.. sweating but we all very enjoyed !!

there are local song, Chinese song, rock song, English song and Malay song..

After aerobic, we start walking and along the way we saw some of

them are very supportive by leaving some painting on their face,

by telling they are joining this event to the public...

Then we walk all the way on the road in Waterfront for 45 mins,

around 4000 steps in total ...

Then finally, we back to the destination,

and Nestle did provided several food and beverages,

like Maggie, Cocoa Crunch, Milo and Yogurt (need to pay) ...

All of us very hungry and thirsty, especially me,

I drink 4 cups of Milo and ate 2 cups of Maggie, haha...

and we need to queue up for it under hot and sunny weather...

But this is a very good experience and I enjoy it very much..

Hopefully next year will organize the same event in Kuching again :)

Mid Autumn Festival and Brother Yew's Big day

Yesterday was so fun, because Brother Yew's big day fall on Mid Autumn Festival.

We bought so many lanterns, candles, find sticks and also prepared birthday gift for

Mr. Yew. and you know what, the birthday gift was prepared in last minute, that's

why it look ugly. But thanks God, Mr Yew appreciates our gift very much.

This is the gift that I prepared for him, again it is a needlework.

At first, I wish to make a foot ball for him, because he likes foot ball very much,

but the outcome look more like a lantern than a football.

Thus, I add in the handle and some tassel below to make it look like a real lantern.

After completed the birthday gift, we went out celebrate with Mr Yew in

"Meexiang Seafood" @ Stutong.

The food we ordered are so nice, and it is quite expensive too..

~ and chili padi

While waiting, we start our celebration with Mr Yew first,

his birthday cake is so cute, Angry Bird cupcake.

After that, we start eating, everyone enjoy it very much. What a nice feeling.

After, some of them went back first,

and the rest were planned to play lantern at Hung Wei's house.

Before we go to Hung Wei's house, we went to buy Durian

~ girls are opening the durian, haha

Those durian have 2 types, one is RM 8 and another one is RM 6,

for them RM 8 is nicer than RM 6, but only me have different taste with them,

because I felt like the RM 6 is nicer, haha...

After finished all the Durian, we start playing lantern, the theme of the day finally had come.

After that, we hung around the taman, then took many photos, end up lantern hanging at 11.45pm.

everyone was so tired, then we clean everything and went home for a good sleep.
